JME, Nadia Rose and Danny Brown are just a few of the acts who’ll be making an appearance
AFROPUNK has confirmed the much anticipated line-up for its We Are The People event at London’s Printworks.
The extensive billing includes Lil Simz, Willow Smith, Danny Brown, Jme plus more, and will be the second Afropunk Festival to take place in London.
An institution recognised for defining culture in the music world for over 14 years, Afropunk is a triumph of multiculturalism and diversity for people of all races, genders, colours, creeds and tastes.
New York, Atlanta, Johannesburg and Paris are all now home to global Afropunk events, with the inaugural London outing adding a UK twist to proceedings. This July 22nd – 23rd, Afropunk returns to the city’s freshest venue – Printworks, which will include a P marketplace, food, art and style.
The 14-year-old festival’s is known for its carefree vibe, and alternative black acts across grime, punk, hip hop, soul, reggae and roots music.
