Tonight, BBC Radio 1 DJ Huw Stephens announced the exciting new artists who will perform on the BBC Music Introducing stages at Reading and Leeds Festivals in 2017.

2017 marks 10 years of BBC Music Introducing hosting stages at Reading and Leeds (25-27 August 2017), showcasing some of the best emerging talent from across the UK.

This year:

Avenoir, Brooke Bentham, Honey Arcade, Moses, Olly Chamberlain, Phundo Art, Plaza, Rale, Scott Quinn, Sugarman, The Golden Age of TV and TOUTS will take to the BBC Music Introducing stage in Reading on Friday 25th August before performing at Leeds on Saturday 26th August.

Cassia, Colouring, Dan Stock, Ider, Island, KOYO, Pale Waves, Playing House,Sœur, Too Many Ts, Verschieden and Will Sin For Love will appear at Reading Festival on Saturday 26th August before they’re welcomed to the BBC Music Introducing stage at Leeds Festival on Sunday 27th August.

Alibi, Anna Straker, Chroma, Deadset Dream, Ginger Snaps, Honey Lung, Low Island, Mosa Wild, Penguin, Queen Zee and The Sasstones, Rock Bottom Risers, and The Pale White will play at Leeds Festival on Friday 25th August before featuring at Reading Festival on Sunday 27th August.

There will be surprise performances each day at both festivals.
