The summer festival season start in May Bank holiday with one of the most eclectic line ups to date. The battle of headliners is here as music legends Duran Duran, Public Enemy, Primal Scream, Dizzee Rascal, Fat Boy Slim and others will be taking main stages at various festivals across the country on May 28th / 29th 2016.
Common People – Southampton / Oxford 26-27 May
This May Bank Holiday weekend (26th and 27th May), Common People – organised by Rob da Bank, DJ and co-founder of music festivals Bestival on the Isle of Wight and Camp Bestival, – is back. Common People will take place at both Oxford’s South Park, and Southampton Common, on the very same weekend (26-27 May) with a unique set of cross-genre trailbrazers and that unique Bestival-inspired sparkle to boot.
Legendary The Jackson, The New Power Generation (Prince’s Legendary Band), Morcheeba, Aswad and Boney M are some of the headlines for this year Common People

Love Saves The Day (LSTD) – Bristol 26-27 May
This is one of the UK’s more unique and celebrated festival experiences and it has become a significant underground dance music, theatre & performance event in Eastville Park, Bristol attracting more than 12,000 visitors each day over the weekend.
Headliner for this year are Fatboy Slim, Sampha, Bicep and Loyle Carner.
The electronic-centric festival will also feature the likes of Andy C, Artwork, Austin Ato, Avelino, Axel Boman plus some of the most celebrated DJs, producers, and rappers around.
Alongside the acts, Eastville Park will be boasting the Arcadia Afterburner – a 360-degree stage with a central flaming spire and protruding dance platforms that many festival-goers could have previously spotted at Glastonbury.
