Set in the leafy surroundings of Victoria Park, Field Day Festival (Saturday 11th and Sunday 12 June 2016), with its village fête-like feel an exemplary cross section of leftfield bands, artists and DJ’s for the true music lovers’ delectation, is the perfect way to celebrate the coming of summer.
Featuring popular including Mercury Prize-winning musician PJ Harvey, Four Tet, Skepta, Beach House, Goat, John Grant, The Thurston Moore Band, Cass McCombs, Dean Blunt, Mount Kimbie (DJ set), Wild Nothing, Youth Lagoon and many many more.
The festival is divided into stages and dance tents, to suit every mood. Foodie treats will be on offer at the Venn Street Market, and the charming swing carrousel is hard to resist.
The first festival took place on 11 August 2007. It has continuously expanded from one to two days, and since its inception, ticket allocation for the festival has sold out every year since then.
2016 is an special year for the organizers, this year’s Field Day celebrates its 10th year in London’s Victoria Park. It will take place on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12 June 2016.
