The 15th anniversary of the festival looks like it’ll be the best yet.
Lovebox 2017 has announced more of the line-up joining Frank Ocean in Victoria Park, London for the festival’s 15th anniversary.
Frank’s Friday headline slot will be followed up by drum and bass heavyweights Chase & Status on Saturday night.
Elsewhere, there’s South London singer-songwriter Sampha, who has collaborated with Beyoncé’s sister Solange, who is also booked. We know, Solange is totally good enough to not be referred to as just Beyoncé’s sister.
There’ll be Jamie xx from The xx as well, Timbageek favourite Jess Glynne, Brits Critics’ Choice Award winner Rag’n’Bone Man, Radio 1’s Annie Mac, and even the Fresh Prince’s partner in crime, DJ Jazzy Jeff. You can find the full list announced so far here.
Speaking about supporting Frank Ocean’s headline slot, Jamie xx said: “I’m looking forward to playing at Lovebox this year and sharing the stage with Frank Ocean who headlines directly after my set!”
London nightclub Fabric will also be coming back to the festival for a second year running, after the famous venue was threatened with closure last year.
This marks the first wave of artists to be announced for the festival, with more to come later in the year.
Lovebox 2017 takes place on July 14 and 15, 2017, and tickets are available now.
