135,000 tickets sold out in record time

Tickets for the festival weekend sold out in record time as this year’s festivalgoers raced to snap up passes to the summer’s hottest party in London’s Finsbury Park.

Wireless has cemented itself as the home of grime, hip-hop and R&B music in the UK and champions some of the biggest and best upcoming acts in urban music. The spectacular line-up includes some of the most talked about names in homegrown and international talent, including headliners Stormzy, J. Cole and DJ Khaled.

Also performing to a home crowd this summer are the hottest names in UK music including Giggs, J Hus, Wiley, Not3s and Ramz. Joining them on stage is 2017 breakout star and BRIT Critics’ Choice nominee Mabel, who stormed the charts with her top 10 hit ‘Finders Keepers’. From the US, the new Queen of rap Cardi B will be making her UK festival debut after her meteoric rise to fame in 2017 with the release of ‘Bodak Yellow’.

Tickets for Sunday and multi-day tickets for Sunday and Saturday sold out just 24 hours after the first announcement, with fans desperate to get a chance to see internet sensation DJ Khaled perform his only set outside of North America this year. Wireless will also be the only festival to see other US hit makers including Atlanta-based trio Migos and hip-hop star Post Malone.

Melvin Benn, MD of Festival Republic comments: “It’s no surprise that this year’s festival sold out in record time, with such a phenomenal line up this year. Yet again, Wireless has cemented itself as the hottest festival ticket in London this Summer.”

Wireless festival will take place at Finsbury Park from 6-8th July, 2018.
