For many people in our age group, a festival is about going to a field, listening to music, and getting drunk, and for a lot of festivals that’s about all there is to it. This, however, is not the case with WOMAD Festival. Co-founded by Peter Gabriel over 30 years ago, the world music festival has so much more to offer.
WOMAD festival Brings together many forms of music, arts and dance from countries and cultures around the world on seven separate stage and workshop areas. WOMAD stands for World of Music, Arts and Dance, the festival as usual since 2007 is in the picturesque site at Charlton Park, near Malmesbury in Wiltshire. African, Latin american, iberian artists etc will be part of this great festival as well , so… check the line up, buy your tickets and support this great music show this 24-26 July!
