The band have garnered critical acclaim over their three albums and a reputation as a formidable live force! It’ll be out of this world.
Saturday Headliner Bc Camplight Announced And Los Bitchos
BC Camplight returns to Down at the Abbey to headline our Saturday evening and will be performing material off his new album, The Last Rotation Of Earth, (out 12th May via Bella Union – John Grant, The Flaming Lips).
The last album Shortly After Takeoff’ received the best reviews of his life and was called “A masterpiece,” by The Guardian in their 5-star review.
Backed by his thrilling live band, BC has performed at many major festivals including All Points East, Glastonbury, BBC 6Music, and End of the Road, and plays his biggest headline shows to date, at London Shepherd’s Bush Empire and Manchester’s Albert Hall later this year.
Join BC Camplight are the energetic, London-based pan-continental, mostly-instrumental four piece Los Bitchos were undoubtedly one of the breakthrough bands of 2022, and they ended the year the only way they know how by celebrating!
Having played their retro-futuristic blend of Peruvian chicha, Argentine cumbia, Turkish psych and surf guitars at over 100 shows across 20 countries since their debut album was released on City Slang in February of 2022, the band has released two new festive tracks, Los Chrismos and Tipp Tapp to mark the end of an incredible year.
Los Bitchos just played a run of select tour dates supporting Franz Ferdinand, along with numerous festival dates, and a coveted spot sharing the stage with Pavement plus supporting King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard this March.
