Saturday night’s spotlight is on Elvana – the epic Elvis-fronted Nirvana tribute act where Rock & Roll icons of the afterlife are raised from the dead – we know it will be a show to remember. Headliners Sister Sledge will bring epic amounts of sparkle to the stage, giving us all the amazing hits – we can’t wait to get lost in music! Who better to headline Super Sangria Sunday than Extra-terrestrial joymongers – HENGE, with their scintillating live performance that has earned them ‘Best Live Act’ at the Independent Festival Awards. The guys are somewhere between rave and prog-rock that nobody knew existed! Many fantastic Scottish acts such as Shooglenifity, Valtos, Kitti, Samson Sounds, Glitch41 and the Glasgow African Balafon Orchestra will also join the bill giving us everything from Celtic classics, jazz, afro dance and reggae. For those looking for something a bit bassier, look no further than Friday night in the Ghilli Dhu Dance Tent with a D&B and Jungle takeover from Born on Road, featuring A Little Sound, Gardna, Skitz and Joe Burn. Saturday, we’ll be transported around the world with the sounds of The Heatwave, Mina & Bryte and Village Cuts. Closing the show on Sunday will be Radio 6 music’s Huey Morgan and, finally, breakbeat party starters Stanton Warriors.
