The Secret Garden Party

The Secret Garden Party (also known SGP) – staged at Abbot’s Ripton from Jul 21 – Jul 24, 2016 – is widely considered the best kept secret of the festival world. Born as an alternative to the UK’s larger mainstream music festivals, since its launch way back in 2004 SGP has increased in popularity and size, and has grown from one stage and 1,000 visitors in 2004, to more than 15 stages and 30,000 revellers.
The “boutique” event grows in popularity each year, with last year’s acts including The Cat Empire, Public Service Broadcasting, Angus & Julia Stone.
The Underworld, the Libertines and Fat Freddy’s Drop are set to headline the award-winning independent festival’s 2023 edition. The theme for the four-day event, EPISODE XV11 – A NEW HOPE.
The Secret Garden Party festival ranks as one of the greats, it’s unique, visionary, ingenious and totally engrossing, offering something quite different to the usual array, The Secret Garden Party is utterly brilliant and quite different in every respect.
Located deep in the countryside near Mill Hill Field, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, the event create an intimate atmosphere that’s chock-full of colourful characters, fancy dress, and of course, live music.
