The Friday headliner has been announced and they’ll be bringing along all the drums, synths and dancing you could wish for as part of their eagerly anticipated return to music.
GEORGE EZRA will play st the Hill Farm to wow us with his awesome brand of folk pop that lead him to top of the charts with and go on to hold the record for the biggest ever crowd in front of Pyramid Stage. With a set packed with huge hits and epic sing-a-longs and music from a brand new album out in March, this promises to go down as one of those “I was there” moments.
However, it’s not all just about our first wave of headliners… JAKE BUGG will be making his first appearance at Truck Festival.
Bonafide Hip-Hop legends DE LA SOUL are heading from across the pond to find out if what they’ve heard about Truckers being the best audience, is really the case! They’ll be joined by the hugely requested and bloody brilliant EVERYTHING EVERYTHING, returning indie heroes CIRCA WAVES and everyone’s favourite tear-away RAT BOY, who will be playing a special headline set in The Market Stage.
As promised, our Thursday Early Entry show isn’t just about getting first dibs in the campsite… We’re delighted to have Truck favourites PEACE as our first ever Thursday night Headliners! They will be joined by JAWS who provided one of the best sets of last years festival. With a whole host of other acts and entertainment to be announced, this has to be the only way to start your Truck weekend!
GAZ COOMBES will be back at his favourite festival for the first time since 2013, and we can’t wait! Not only that but Oxfordshire locals LOW ISLAND, LEADER, KANADIA, LITTLE BROTHER ELI and I CRIED WOLF will all be there as well as the absolutely brilliant Oxford Symphony Orchestra, who became a viral sensation after their 2017 set!
THE AMAZONS will be banging out some real slick riffs and sing-a-long hooks on the Truck stage, while part post-punk revival and part indie rock WE ARE SCIENTISTS, alt-rock four piece MOOSE BLOOD and our favourite sisters THE BIG MOON will headlining nights in The Nest joined by art pop collective HMLTD. Catch THE SHERLOCKS on the Truck stage, plus Manchester quartet PALE WAVES giving you dreamy danceable indie pop at the Market stage, along with the lovely lads from THE MAGIC GANG will be treating you to ever sweet, harmonious, catchy bangers as always.
PALM CITY will be back bigger, brighter and louder than ever with nights featuring the likes of KURUPT FM, SHY FX, REDLIGHT and HOLY GOOF. SWITCH will also be back, taking over the Saturday night with their ridiculously popular night headlined by SUB FOCUS, with bassline heavyweights SKEPSIS and DARKZY also making an appearance!
